How do you get the green bars under your id name? And can I score some?

How do you get the green bars under your id name? And can I score some?

Those are Reputation Bars, each one gives a count on a poster of his/Hers Reputation Level.

Each Poster gets started with 1 Bar, and seeing yours without Any. Must mean there was a problem somewhere in the past. Because as much as a Poster can Earn Bars, they can Lose them too.

Oh scary. LOL What do we have to do to lose our reputation? Anyway, I'm assuming a certain number of post over a certain number of days qualifies you for a new green bar?
